Judging Process on YouNoodle: A Step-by-Step Guide

1. Invitation and Account Setup

  • You will receive an email invitation to join YouNoodle as a judge from the program organizers.

  • Click the invitation link to log in to your YouNoodle account.

  • If you don't have an account, create one using the exact same email address where you received the invitation.

    • Crucial Note: You must log in with the email address that received the invitation. If you use a different email, you will see an "Access Denied" message, which simply means you are signed in with the wrong account.

2. Accepting the Invitation

  • Once logged in, go to your Home page.

  • Open the “Pending Invitations” tab and click “Accept” to join the judging round.

3. Setting Preferences (If Applicable)

  • If category preferences are enabled, you can set them by selecting “Yes,” “Maybe,” or “No” for the available categories.

  • These preferences must be submitted before the judging round officially opens to be taken into consideration for entry assignments.

4. Beginning the Evaluation

  • When the judging round opens, you may receive a second notification inviting you to begin.

  • Click “Go to Judging” to access your evaluation workspace.

5. Review and Evaluate Entries

  • Use the toolbox on the right side of the screen to view your assigned entries.

  • Click any entry name to start your review and evaluation.

  • Entries that you have saved will automatically move to the Completed section.

6. Finalizing Submissions

  • After you have evaluated all the entries assigned to you, click “Submit entry” to finalize and submit all your evaluations.

Congratulations! You have completed the judging round!
